blakgirl publishing.com, Inc, have been in existence since 2003. We are still in the growing stages, yet we are constantly expanding more and more every day. Being an independent book publishing company, we are always on the lookout for every opportunity that is beneficial to our authors. We look for services that are afforable for our authors as we compete with other publishing houses. As blakgirl publishing continues to grow in the literary arena we still strive to compete and bring the latest developements to the table in order to give our authors the finest. Indeed, we have come a long way and we still have a lot of ground to cover; yet we can safely say that we have now become a part of the competition.
 

 What do blakgirl publishing .com, Inc. have to offer?

 

All our published authors always maintain creative control as well as book control of their work. When you have signed a contract with us to publish your book, from the onset it is at your discretion as to how you want your book finished book to look. Once the publishing process begins we form a unity with you making sure your book is being published in the manner that you are satisfied with. The end results of your work is a professional published book.

What else do we have to offer ?

 

 

Currently, we are in partnership with Baker & Taylor, Goggle Books, Amazon Books, and Bowker Books. We are pleased to announce that we have recently formed an alliance with Book Masters/Atlas Books who will have our books distributed through all of the above distributors as well as Ingram Books and other referenced distributors.  We also have a Marketing and Promotions Department that is a part of the publishing package. We are also in the process of signing up with Alibris Book Club where we will have all our books for sale on their site.

 

We help all our authors with book signing set-ups. In the past we provided Press Releases free of charge to all our authors, however; since teaming up with Book Masters/Atlas Books, all Press Releases will be prepared through them. What this means is that there will be a fee charged for all Press releases. What this also means is that with the Press Release, your book will be sent to several outlets (radio, tv, etc) for review. More information on this is included in our manual so make sure that you get our manual which is free of charge.

 

Another addendum which we have upgraded is in our Music Department. Having your book on cd is popular and afforable. If this is something that you would like, be sure to discuss the details about this at the time of your interview. If you are interested in using this service without having your book published, not a problem, just let us know.
